All my life, I imagined what it would be to have a life where I get to write all the time, every single day. I always wanted my words to have so much power. As I embarked my journey of a full-time writer almost a year ago, I was not aware of the crests and troughs that this journey beholds. I felt it was a cakewalk and if I had the talent and potential that it needs, everything will work fine for me. Fortunately enough, that didn’t happen. All my expectations were shattered and I felt bad about it. But, I did learn a lesson. In fact, there were many lessons that I learnt in this journey. There were days when I wrote so much, I felt like patting my back. But then, there were days when I just felt like putting my laptop on fire because it reminded me of writing and I didn’t want to write. There were days when I would look at my articles and feel disgusted, puckish. But, then there were days when I would look at them and feel that I am walking on the right path. My journey of writing, storytelling and exploring the new content formats has given me so much, more than what I asked for. So, here are some lessons that my 365 days of storytelling taught me and these will always stay with me.
