While sharing my lunch with a family last week, I happened to notice something. The father in the family was a very jolly person whom kids used to make the demands to. While the mother appeared to be a very isolated individual who had no interaction with the people on the table.
The effect of this polarization was clearly visible on the kids. While dad took all the light of being the cool parent, the mother remained isolated. This can never inspire their kids to build a healthy relationship with their mother.
This is just one example of the toxic behaviour that parents should never employ on their kids.
